A local church planted in Tuba City with a desire to faithfully preach God's Word and reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
From drive-in services to a local church.
Victory Baptist Church began during an unusual time. Pastor Brandon Ewer and his family arrived in Tuba City on April 1, 2020, with a desire to establish a Bible-preaching church and reach the people of Tuba City and the surrounding Navajo Nation with the Gospel.
Just a few months later, Victory Baptist Church held its first service on Friday, July 31, 2020. Because of COVID-19 restrictions and the Navajo Nation's weekend lockdowns, meeting for a traditional Sunday service was not possible. So Victory began with drive-in services, where people could remain in their vehicles while hearing the preaching of God's Word.
From those unusual beginnings, the Lord has allowed Victory Baptist Church to continue serving Tuba City as a local, independent Baptist church. Our purpose remains the same today: to faithfully preach the Word of God, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and help people grow in their walk with the Lord.
Pastor Brandon Ewer
Pastor Brandon Ewer and his wife are both graduates of Commonwealth Baptist College in Lexington, Kentucky. Together with their family, they came from Kentucky to Tuba City in 2020 to establish Victory Baptist Church and serve the people of the Navajo Nation.
Pastor Ewer's desire for Victory is simple: that it remain a church faithful to God's Word, committed to the Gospel, and focused on reaching people for Christ.
